Terex Fuchs MHL335 Scrap, Waste and Recycling Material Handler
Scrap Handling Application
Stable undercarriage. High lift capacities. Scrap operations do not sacrifice performance to get a compact design with the Terex® Fuchs MHL335 material handler. The MHL335 machine blends the undercarriage of the larger MHL340 handler with the compact upper structure of the smaller MHL331, providing a 9% wider stabilizer footprint than the smaller machine to elevate capacities throughout the entire lift range, so more material can be moved, loaded and unloaded in a shorter period of time.
Powered by a 153 hp (114 kW) turbocharged diesel engine and featuring integrated hydraulic load limit sensing, this handler delivers the right combination of power and precision. Offering three boom/stick options with up to a 39.4-ft (12-m) reach and a variety of attachments, including a 0.8-yd3 (0.6-m3) five-tine grapple with high closing forces, the flexible MHL335 handler can be equipped to meet virtually any scrap-handling need. Boasting up to 12.4 mph (30 km/h) speed and narrow 26.9-ft (8.2-m) turning radius, this handler quickly and nimbly moves about the yard.
With its unique separate cooling system design, sustained operation in hot ambient temperatures reaching 122° (50° C) is no problem for the MHL335 handler. The machine’s durable double-row slew ring delivers years of reliable service, while its large swing drive provides quick and precise upper carriage handling. The standard hydraulically height-adjustable cab elevates operators to a maximum 17.4-ft (5.3-m) eye level for excellent worksite visibility, while its cushioned elevation system absorbs movement shocks and jolts for the ultimate in operator comfort.
Waste & Recycling Handling Application
A large undercarriage and wide stabilizer base deliver high lifting capacities for the Terex® Fuchs MHL331 material handler. Blending the undercarriage of the larger MHL340 handler with the compact upper structure of the smaller MHL331, the MHL335 machine elevates lifting capacities well beyond that of the smaller material handler, so waste transfer stations and recycling facilities can move and sort more material in a shorter period of time.
Three boom/stick options with reaches ranging from 35.1-ft (10.7-m) to 39.4-ft (12-m) mean operations can equip the MHL335 handler to meet site-specific needs, regardless of whether working under a structure or outdoors. Its combination of compact size and high lift capacities enables this handler to move, sort, load and unload mountains of material. Its available 35.1-ft (10.7-m) multi-purpose stick gives operators control of the attachment’s up-and-down movement for superior material sorting without machine repositioning. A range of attachments – from lifting hook to grapple to clamshell – further promote this handler’s versatility.
From dusty and dry to intensely hot ambient temperatures reaching 122° (50° C), the MHL335 handler takes the punishment. It boasts a durable double-row slew ring to deliver years of reliable service life, while its large swing drive provides quick and precise upper carriage handling. The 153 hp (114 kW) turbocharged diesel engine features an integrated hydraulic load limit sensing for efficient use of power, while its hydraulically height-adjustable cab offers up to a 17.4-ft (5.3-m) eye-level elevation for simple and efficient loading of high-wall trailers and railcars.
